Claudine’s Clean Chex Mix

Who doesn’t love Chex mix?!  Well, if you’ve been missing it since you started eating “clean,” here’s your chance to remember the ’80s!

Claudine’s Clean Chex Mix

Who doesn’t love Chex Mix??  Now you can have yours guilt-free 🙂

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 TB Avocado oil, Grass-Fed Butter, or Ghee
  • 2 TB Vegan Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tsp Seasoning Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (see note 1)
  • 9 Cups Chex cereal (i use a combo of Corn and Rice, which are gluten-free)
  • 1 Cup Nuts of choice
  • 1 Cup Gluten-Free Pretzels
  • 1 Cup Gluten-Free Bagel Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250-degrees and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper
  2. Combine butter/oil/ghee, Worcestershire sauce, salt and garlic powder in a large bowl
  3. Add cereal, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips to the wet mixture and stir until well-coated
  4. Pour mixture onto pan and bake at four 15-minute intervals, stirring between each.
  5. Let cool completely before storing (I keep mine in the fridge if the house is warm)
  6. Enjoy!

Notes

Note 1: Feel free to add a ½ tsp of onion powder, if more of a “kick” is desired
